Commercial · Charlotte, NC
Keep insects out and airflow in with commercial window screens built for day-to-day use. Charlotte Screens installs and repairs aluminum frames, spline-set mesh, and hardware for offices, retail, schools, and multi-tenant buildings in Charlotte.
Good results start with the opening, not the mesh. We field-measure each window for square, reveal depth, and frame clearance, then check existing channels, stops, and mounting points for bent metal, paint buildup, or corrosion. For replacements, we match frame thickness and corner style, then choose the correct spline diameter so the mesh stays tight without warping the frame. We also inspect latches, pull tabs, tension springs, and slide bolts so screens stay secure and serviceable after installation.
Local conditions matter for commercial window screens, especially pollen seasons, summer humidity, and frequent cleaning. We help you choose the right mesh, from fiberglass for cost-effective visibility to aluminum mesh for better heat resistance, plus pet-resistant and solar screen options for high-wear areas. Where durability is a priority, we build and repair with aluminum screen frames, stainless or plated fasteners when needed, and clean spline lines that sit flush for easy wipe-down. Final fit is adjusted so screens seat evenly, operate smoothly, and do not rattle in wind or HVAC pressure changes.
Charlotte customers choose us because we run commercial work like commercial work, clear scope, consistent quality, and minimal disruption to tenants and staff. Since 2019, we have focused on screening systems and the small details that make them last, correct measurements, proper spline tension, true corners, and hardware that holds up to daily handling. You get straightforward options, repair when it is viable, replace when it is smarter, and a free written estimate you can use for approvals. We are licensed and insured, and we communicate scheduling, access needs, and lead times before we arrive.
After installation or repair, we do a closing walkthrough and confirm seating, retention, and operation at every opening. We check for gaps at corners, wave in the mesh, loose spline, and interference with window locks or egress hardware, then make on-site adjustments. You receive a clear summary of what was repaired or replaced, the mesh and frame specs used, and maintenance tips for cleaning and seasonal checks. If your property has many windows, we can also help you plan a phased rollout and create a baseline list for future screen service.

Commercial window screens are one of the simplest ways to improve comfort and cut down on complaints in offices, retail spaces, schools, and multi-family common areas. When screens are loose, torn, or missing, bugs get in, airflow drops, and windows stop being usable. Charlotte Screens installs new screens and repairs existing ones using properly measured aluminum frames, spline-set mesh, and durable hardware so each screen fits tight, sits square, and stays in place under daily use.
Our process starts with fit and function. We verify window type, opening dimensions, and mounting method, then assess whether a screen can be rebuilt or if a new frame is the better long-term choice. Common fixes include replacing torn mesh, worn spline, bent frame members, broken corners, and missing pull tabs, springs, or clips. We keep the mesh evenly tensioned to prevent sagging while avoiding over-tightening that can rack the frame.
Material selection is tailored to the space. Fiberglass mesh is a solid baseline for visibility and cost, aluminum mesh offers improved heat resistance, and specialty meshes can help in high-traffic areas or where glare and heat gain are concerns. For commercial environments, we prioritize durable aluminum frames, consistent spline lines, and hardware that stands up to repeated removal for cleaning and maintenance.
If you manage multiple units or a large building, we can help standardize specifications and schedule the work in phases to reduce downtime. Expect clear documentation of what was installed or repaired, plus practical maintenance guidance so your commercial window screens stay tight, clean, and reliable from season to season.
